Home Button

GOOD NEWS!

I got the buttons back! You can read all about it here, on the very blog that I wanted to get it back for. Oh, yeah, and scroll down to the very bottom of that blog. Take a good long look. YAY! I have the buttons/words I wanted.

But, now, I can change it to the ones I wanted in the first place (see last link above).

And also, now I can remove the home button but NOT for good! I've learned my lesson. ;)

so, go to the blog > Template > Customize > Advanced > Add CSS, and add the following code:
#blog-pager { display:none;}
Then click "add to blog".

Yay ok, thanks for stopping by.

Navigation II

If you want to change your Home/Older/Newer buttons to the title of your post (for example, this one), then bingo here you go.

I got a solution.

The link will open a new tab. This is what it will look like:
I know, it's not the beautiful-est blog, but it was made on the spot about 10 minutes ago, not with this in mind, but I just wanted to try it out.

First I removed the Home/Older/Newer Posts buttons on one blog, then tried this tutorial on it and of course it didn't work because you have to have the buttons there. |:< So then I was like, guess it won't work on Remodify, so I tried it on a new blog (the blog above) and it works. But I can't use it on Remodify. Tear.

I had really really hoped it would work because I liked the idea and it worked just the same as the home/newer/older posts buttons (you still got seven posts and could scroll down and choose which one you wanted to read, with the titled one at the top, the one that was listed -- for example "the diamond ring" would be at the top and you know that because it says "the diamond ring" instead of "older posts"), but it didn't work. You need the buttons so that it can replace the words with the title. Duh. I should have thought of that.

But oh well. I shouldn't get my hopes up so fast.

On to finding another something that will work!

Navigation

You might have read this. Ha. If I don't have any readers, I'm the only one who's read it.

That's ok, I'm the only one who's going to read this, too, so what up.

But don't ever even think about doing it. Before, consider that if you remove it, you have no positive way of ever getting it back. This blog is my blog (link opens in new tab). Do you notice the only way you can navigate is by clicking around in the archives at the side (which are super ugly and such an eyesore)? Thanks to those people in the first link, I have no idea how to get it back. Yes, Google's there, but the problem is too and the solution isn't. That's the problem. That's another problem. I have two. Now I have three because one problem is that I have two unfix-able problems (if the first problem isn't fixable, the second one isn't either). Ack.

I'm working on figuring out either a different navigation system or getting it back.

Preferably the latter, but you can't have everything. Especially not the Home/Older/Newer buttons. Thank goodness this blog has them!

P.S. no, I will not be messing with this blog's look even though I know it is downright hideous, but I'm not worried in the look, I'm just trying to keep the answers to all the Blogger questions I have. My gmail account is getting stacked high with all these things and I want a place I can keep them. So this will have to do, even if it makes your eyes bleed. Just get a tissue and suck it up cupcake (ew).
